Where did you grow up?
Outside of Portland, Oregon.
When did you start skateboarding?
The mid 90s.
What got you into skating?
An 80s skateboard that my friend and I found and destroyed. An old friend Dominic Lawrence and his two older brothers, Alaric and Octavian, were the only other people we knew who skateboarded. They definitely inspired me to get into it.
What is your favorite style of riding?
Technical urban transportation, pops and shreds.
What community activities are you involved in?
Occasionally help with PDXdownhill and Rip City Skate events.
What crew do you skate with?
All of them. Mostly the Rip City Skate crew.
Who are your role models?
All Hawaii/Berkeley influenced riders. (Ethan Lau, JM Duran, Darryl Freeman) Those dudes kill it at life in general, and definitely at skateboarding.
Who is your biggest influence?
Probably Billy, simply because we skate together and push each other a lot.
What is your favorite thing about skateboarding?
I haven't figured that out yet. It seems evolutionarily pointless. Probably frontside grinds.
What do you do to pay the bills?
Gardening... and switchbacks races.
